 Kaduna Targets ₦120bn IGR In 2026 — KADIRS Chairman   Kaduna State has set an Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) target of ₦120 billion for the 2026 fiscal year, with the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) expected to play a central role in achieving the target. The Executive Chairman of KADIRS, Jerry Adams, FCTI, FNIM, FCE, CNA, disclosed this during the Service’s Annual Performance Review, Work Plan, and Strategic Retreat.  He explained that although the state government approved ₦74 billion as KADIRS’ official revenue target, the Service raised its internal benchmark to ₦80.09 billion to motivate staff to exceed expectations. He further stated that the proposed 2026 budget by the Kaduna State Planning and Budget Commission stands at ₦117.28 billion, with KADIRS expected to generate ₦74.28 billion, while Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) are projected to generate ₦43.24 billion.  THE NEW ABIA LOGO BRAND IDENTITY SUMMARY: 


The Official graphic Design of the New Abia Logo which was unveiled yesterday by His Excellency Dr. Alex C. Otti 


This logo was designed by world renowned heraldic designers,merely looking at it, it's similar to the national crests of most advanced countries 


The idea behind the redesign of the logo is to enhance the state’s brand identity to appear different from the old one made up with just images lifted from corel draw and cliparts


And for the records, the new Abia design didn't cost the Government a dime. 

ACCORDING TO ANOTHER SOURCE:

Agu is the Traditional Igbo insignia(animal image).


 Enyi is the dominance identity of our pride...Nzogbu...nzogbu....Enyimba..Enyi..(Aba brand identity).


The Eagle is our indefatigable strength to soar higher. 


The wheel of production is running to showcase our industrial/entrepreneurial spirit.


Our crown cultural heritage (okpu egwurugwu) is depicted.


Our academic excellence is fully represented by the book. 


Agricultural cash of palm tree and food crops of pumpkin fruits on a sustainable greenery, laced with Akwaete clothing summarizes the new logo with same motto(Prosperity through Enterprise)and same rider: God's Own State.
