 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. BREATH OF LIFE ACTOR 'CHIMEZIE IMO' WINS TRAIBLAZER AWARD AT THE 2024 AMVCA. (PHOTO).


Chimezie Imo, a talented actor from the movie Breath of Life, has won the 2024 Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards (AMVCA) Trailblazer award. Imo's outstanding performance in the film caught the attention of the industry. The AMVCA award was held at the Eko Hotel & Suites in Lagos on Saturday. Imo, who has been making waves in the Nigerian film industry, expressed his gratitude for the recognition and dedicated the award to his fans and supporters. He said, "I just want to say a very big thank you, Africa Magic thank you for making me feel seen and recognising this gift God has blessed me with. "So every actor, young, up-and-coming should be one audition away from your big break." The AMVCA has multiple categories for nominees, including actors, movies, and exceptional crew members.
