 Kebbi Govt Donates 10 Hilux Vehicles to Boost Security on Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway  The Kebbi State Government has handed over 10 brand-new Hilux vehicles to the Federal Ministry of Works to strengthen security for personnel working on the Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway project. The vehicles were formally received by the Minister of State for Works, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, who praised Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasiru Idris (Kauran Gwandu), for the donation. Goronyo described the gesture as a clear demonstration of the state government’s commitment to protecting workers and contractors on the strategic highway corridor. He explained that the vehicles will be deployed exclusively to security operatives providing cover for construction teams along the section of the super highway passing through Kebbi State.  Dubai Police Leadership Convenes Under His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri’s Chairmanship

 

His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, presided over the meeting of the Dubai Police High Command and Executive Council.

 

The meeting was attended by the assistant commandants, directors of general departments and police stations, representatives of Dubai Police councils, and several senior officers.

 

The meeting began with a review of the decisions from the previous meeting and the progress of their implementation. Discussions included programs and plans set for execution across various departments and police stations, along with the latest administrative updates.

 

Lieutenant General Al Marri then listened to a briefing from Lieutenant Colonel Ahmad Al Hafiti, Director of Initiatives and Projects and Head of the Employee and Customer Governance Team. The briefing covered the results of the past five years of the government human resources happiness survey issued by the Executive Council of Dubai, focusing on the happiness index and customer satisfaction within Dubai Police. The council discussed addressing the points raised in the report and strategies for achieving further advancements.

 

Furthermore, Lieutenant General Al Marri was presented with a security and operational report by Expert Brigadier Ahmad Bourguiba, Director of the Resilience Centre. The report included general statistics on the efforts of various teams, the number of calls received, and the total number of people assisted, along with key recommendations for developing policies to handle different crises.

 

Additionally, Brigadier Sultan Al Owais, Director of Al Qusais Police Station, presented a report on the campaigns and checkpoints initiative, detailing the statistics since the beginning of the current year.

 

Lieutenant General Al Marri praised the continuous efforts of the different teams working tirelessly to achieve the goals of the leadership in enhancing security, ensuring public happiness, and providing top-notch services. He emphasised the importance of ongoing and continuous initiatives that align with the directives of the leadership and noted that the general departments and police stations have successfully unified their efforts, working as one team to achieve Dubai Police's strategic objectives.
