 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. NPF CONDOLES WITH POLICE MINISTER ON MOTHER'S DEMISE


The Nigeria Police Force extends its deepest condolences to the Minister of State for Police Affairs, Hajia Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, on the passing of her beloved mother, Hajiya Aisha Sulaiman-Danladi.


The passage of Hajiya Aisha Sulaiman-Danladi peacefully after the Fajri morning prayer of Thursday 27th June, 2024, is a profound loss not only to her immediate family but also to the extended community that had the privilege of knowing her.


The Inspector General of Police, the entire NPF leadership, and all officers of the Force express their heartfelt sympathies and stand in solidarity with the Minister during this difficult time. Hajiya Aisha Sulaiman-Danladi's legacy of kindness, compassion, and devotion will be remembered by all who were touched by her life.


We pray that Almighty Allah grants her Jannatul Firdaus and grants her family the strength to bear this irreplaceable loss.
