Lagos police launch investigation as jeweller  accuses its officers of harassment The Lagos State Police Command said it has commenced an investigation into a viral video of a jeweller accusing some policemen in the Festac area of the state of harassing him.  The command disclosed this in an X post on Saturday. The video, which circulated on X on Saturday morning, shows the businessman engaged in a struggle with some policemen. Later in the video, the businessman could be seen with a bloody face after allegedly sustaining a cut beside his right eye during the struggle with the police officers,  The jeweller later explained that the policemen from the Festac Division had stopped him for a routine search. TWO TEEN GIRLS PASSED AWAY IN HORRIFIC JET SKI ACCIDENT ON ILLINOIS LAKE. (PHOTO).

 2 teen girls pass away in horrific jet ski accident on Illinois lake.


The incident occurred Tuesday on Lake Marie in Antioch, Illinois. According to reports, 13-year-old Elle Kim, was the passenger on a jet ski driven by 16-year-old Sarina Vootkur. The two were traveling north at a high rate of speed near the channel that connects Lake Marie to Grass Lake.


At the same time a 55-year-old man was traveling westbound in a Sea Ray Cabin Cruiser with three other passengers. Eyewitnesses say due to the high rate of speed the girls were traveling there was no way the boater could avoid the crash.


Both girls were knocked unconscious and thrown into the water as a result of the crash. The boaters immediately pulled them aboard, called 911 and rendered what aid they could while transporting the girls to the shore with the help of a fellow boater.


 The two girls were transported to a nearby hospital where they sadly passed away as a result of blunt force trauma. 


This is a heartbreaking story and our thoughts are with everyone involved.
