  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  Actress Motilola Akinlami apologises for criticising “House of Ga’a” movie


Actress and filmmaker Motilola Akinlami has issued a public apology for her criticism of the historical movie “House of Ga’a,” directed by Bolanle Austen Peters.

In a now-deleted post, Motilola shared her review of the movie, which sparked backlash from fans who felt she was discrediting the filmmaker’s work.

On her Instagram page, Motilola clarified that her intention was not to undermine anyone’s hard work but to share her observations.

She acknowledged the skill and effort involved in creating the movie and apologised for any misunderstandings her comments may have caused.

Motilola praised “House of Ga’a” as a great movie with its unique flavours and perspectives, adding that she only saw her own side of the story.

She emphasised that different people have different opinions and apologised again for any offence caused.

The actress concluded by reiterating that “House of Ga’a” is a great movie and wished her followers a blessed week ahead.

She wrote: “Apologies are in order as regards a post I did last week. After due reflection, I realised how that post may have been misconstrued to mean I was trying to bring down someone’s hard work.

“That, in fact, isn’t the case. It’s not in my character. I recognise the hard work and skill that went into putting together that beautiful work of Art.

“I merely made an observation that I took down about 2 minutes after I read it again and had a conversation with a couple of people. I see how that may have sounded the way it did.

“Having said that, HOUSE OF GA’A is a great movie that has its own flavours and add-ons, as there are many sides to a coin.

“I only saw my own side, and for this, I apologise. Again, I’m sorry if that came across the wrong way
