 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.  French Cinema Icon Alain Delon Passes Away at 88


The French cinema world is currently mourning the loss of Alain Delon, a legendary actor known for his profound influence on the industry. Delon passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at his home in Douchy, surrounded by his three children - Anthony, Anouchka, and Alain-Fabien, as well as his beloved dog, Loubo.


The actor had been living in relative seclusion after suffering a stroke in 2019, which left him weakened. In a statement, his family expressed their deep sorrow and requested privacy during this difficult time.


Alain Delon's career includes numerous accolades, including an honorary Palme d'Or at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival.
