 Kebbi Govt Donates 10 Hilux Vehicles to Boost Security on Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway  The Kebbi State Government has handed over 10 brand-new Hilux vehicles to the Federal Ministry of Works to strengthen security for personnel working on the Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway project. The vehicles were formally received by the Minister of State for Works, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, who praised Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasiru Idris (Kauran Gwandu), for the donation. Goronyo described the gesture as a clear demonstration of the state government’s commitment to protecting workers and contractors on the strategic highway corridor. He explained that the vehicles will be deployed exclusively to security operatives providing cover for construction teams along the section of the super highway passing through Kebbi State.  Ghanaian police launches investigation after viral video of male students harassing a female schoolmate they accused of having sex. 


The Ghana Police Service has initiated an investigation following the circulation of a disturbing video on social media that shows a group of male students from Kumasi Academy Senior High School (KUMACA) harassing a female student.


 The 31-second video, which has sparked widespread outrage, depicts the young men physically ass@ulting the female student while accusing her of engaging in s3xual activity. The shocking footage has led to public outcry, with many calling for immediate action against the perpetrators.


In response, the Ghana Police Service released a statement on its official social media channels, confirming that an investigation is underway. The police assured the public that those involved in the incident will be identified, arrested, and brought to justice.


The statement from the police reads: “The Ghana Police Service has commenced an investigation into a viral video in which a group of young men were seen harassing a female student. We wish to assure the public that the perpetrators will be identified and arrested to face justice.”
