 2027: BENUE GOVT TELLS APPOINTEES, DECLARE NOW OR STEP ASIDE 17th December, 2025   The Benue State Government has directed all political appointees seeking to contest elective offices to formally declare their intentions and tender their resignation letters. In a statement issued from the Office of the Deputy Governor, the directive follows the surge in political activities and growing expressions of interest in elective positions across the state. According to the notice, affected appointees are required to submit written expressions of interest for their preferred offices, alongside formal resignation letters, to the Office of the Deputy Governor on or before Thursday, December 18, 2025. The submissions will be transmitted to Governor Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormen Alia for further consideration and necessary action.  Isese: Oyo govt. declares Aug. 20 work-free day


Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has declared August 20, 2024, as a work-free day in celebration of Isese Day.


This announcement was made through a statement issued by Sulaimon Olanrewaju, the governor’s Special Adviser on Media. The circular, released by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Olanike Adeyemo, emphasized the Governor’s commitment to annually observing August 20 as a work-free day to honor Isese Day.


Governor Makinde encouraged traditional worshippers and all citizens to use the day for prayers, focusing on the peace, unity, and stability of Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
