 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. Modi Meets Zelensky in Kyiv Weeks After Moscow Talks with Putin


Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Ukraine on Friday for talks with President Volodymyr Zelensky, just weeks after meeting Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow. The visit has drawn attention, especially since some Western capitals and Kyiv reacted strongly to Modi's earlier trip to Russia in July. Ukrainian President Zelensky was notably critical, expressing his disappointment by stating, "I was disappointed to see the leader of the world's largest democracy hug the world's most bloody criminal in Moscow."


While some speculate that Modi's visit to Kyiv might be an attempt to placate Zelensky and other Western leaders, this isn't the whole story. India's foreign policy often involves balancing relationships between competing nations or blocs, a reflection of its longstanding non-alignment stance in global geopolitics.
