 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. A 13-YEAR-OLD MICHIGAN GIRL TAKES HER 7-YEAR-OLD SISTER'S LIFE. (PHOTO).

 A 13-year-old Michigan girl takes her 7-year-old sister's life. 


Police in Taylor, Michigan were called to a home near Telegraph and Chestnut on Saturday, September 28th, in response to a domestic dispute. No one  was ready for what they discovered while on scene.


As police arrived at the home they were horrified to find a 7-year-old girl suffering from multiple stab wounds. The girl was rushed by ambulance to a nearby hospital where she perished from her injuries.


As police investigated the incident they discovered the assailant was sadly the girl's 13-year-old sister. Apparently there was some sort of argument between the two girls that ended in this tragedy. 


Neighbors were shocked and reported their disbelief saying the girls were extremely close and were always seen playing together.


No names are being released at this time and it is not clear what exactly led to the argument and subsequent fatal attack. 


We will update when more information becomes available. 


Our thoughts are with this family as they deal with this unimaginable situation.
