 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  Education Minister's phone line hacked


The Federal Ministry of Education has confirmed that the phone line of the Minister of Education, Professor Tahir Mamman, has been hacked.


The Director of the Director of Press and Public Relations of the ministry, Boriowo Folasade, confirmed this on Friday morning.


Earlier Mamman had issued a disclaimer about the hacked line on his X handle.


He wrote: “My phone line has been compromised. Please refrain from calling the number and ignore any messages requesting assistance until the issue is resolved.


“Thank you for your understanding”.


The statement by the ministry’s spokesperson, said the hackers were already used the line.


“The Office of the Honourable Minister of Education, Professor Tahir Mamman, wishes to inform the general public that the Minister’s WhatsApp number has been hacked and is currently being used by unauthorised individuals.


“We deeply regret any inconvenience this may cause and urge everyone to disregard any message of request received from the said number until further notice.


“The matter has been reported to the relevant authorities and is under investigation. We advise all members of the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity,” the statement read.
