Tanzania closes Nduta camp housing thousands of Burundi refugees Tanzania has closed a camp housing thousands of Burundian refugees and repatriated all but a handful, activists and the United Nations said. Burundian refugees have complained in recent months of being forcibly evicted from the Nduta camp in northwestern Tanzania, following a deal between the governments in Dar Es Salaam and Bujumbura to repatriate around 100,000 of them by June. As of late 2025, there were an estimated 142,000 Burundian refugees housed in two Tanzanian camps - Nduta and Nyarugusu, according to the United Nations refugee agency (UNHCR). 'I Never Dreamed of Weddings'-Nancy Isime

Nigerian actress Nancy Isime has opened up about her views on marriage, revealing that her focus has always been on building a successful career and achieving financial independence rather than dreaming of a traditional wedding. In a recent interview on the Creativitea Live with Lynda podcast, Isime shared that, unlike many young girls, she never fantasized about getting married but instead envisioned a life where she was working and financially independent.

"I've always seen myself working," Isime said. "When young girls sit down and daydream about getting married, I never did. I used to daydream about working, making my own money, and being independent. I fear that I might not even have my dream wedding because what is a dream wedding? If I get married, it will just be a wedding that we both agree on, whether big or small."

The actress explained that her mindset was shaped by her upbringing, having grown up in a humble household where money was scarce. She emphasized that this experience fueled her determination to be self-sufficient. "I've always been that child who saw myself having my own money. I came from a background where asking for things was almost taboo because there was no money. So I couldn't wait to have my own and do my own thing," Isime added.

Her focus remains on living the life she envisions for herself. "That's why I believe in spending on myself. I spend on myself so much that nobody can say, 'If not for me, you wouldn't have this life,'" she concluded.
