 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  I was the one who chose to walk out of my marriage, best decision ever” – Tonto Dikeh says as she shares advice she gave to a single mother


Tonto Dikeh has taken a dig at her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill, as she shared the advice she gave to her fellow single mother.


The single mother had privately reached out to her, questioning how she was able to cope when her ex left her and their son. She questioned what advice the movie star had for her as she described herself as a nobody aiming to be somebody soon.


“Good morning ma, please ma, I have a question. How were u able to cope when u and ur ex-husband left u with your child? If there is any advice am ready to learn. I am a nobody aiming to be somebody soon”.


Replying to her, Tonto corrected her that she was the one who left the marriage for her and her son’s sake and it was the best decision she made. She told the woman that she has the power to become the person she aspires to be as long as she commits to growth and invests in herself.
