No good deed goes unpunished.  A Florida sea tow captain saved a man from a burning ship only to be shoved overboard and have his boat stolen. This shocking incident occurred near Marco Island on March 6th. On that date, a call went out regarding a burning boat. The captain of a sea tow boat heard the distress call and rushed to provide aid. He was able to quickly locate the burning boat and  discovered 40-year-old, Ryan Deiter, and his dog onboard the burning ship. Wasting no time, the captain of the sea tow boat was able to maneuver alongside the distressed boat and begin efforts to extricate Deiter and his dog from the doomed vessel.  Eventually, the sea tow captain was able to pull both Deiter and his dog onboard the tow boat. However, once Deiter was pulled to safety, he repaid a stranger's kindness with treachery.  Deiter shoved the captain from his own boat and fled the scene in the stolen boat, leaving the man who had just risked his own vessel and life...

Joe Biden’s Son, Hunter Biden Faces Up To 17 Years In Prison Over Tax Evasion After Guilty Plea

Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden, has pleaded guilty to nine federal tax charges in a Los Angeles courtroom on Thursday, potentially facing a maximum of 17 years in prison.

District Judge Mark Scarsi, appointed by former President Trump, accepted the plea and scheduled the sentencing for December 16, as reported by CNN. The charges include tax evasion, filing fraudulent tax returns, and failure to pay taxes. Additionally, Judge Scarsi mentioned that Biden could be liable for a fine of up to $1.3 million.

In the courtroom, prosecutor Leo Wise, who led the case, expressed astonishment at Biden's change of plea, stating, "We were as surprised as everyone else in the courtroom this morning."

Biden's attorney, Abbe Lowell, defended his client's actions, indicating, "Hunter decided to enter his plea to shield his loved ones from unnecessary distress and harsh humiliation."

Lowell further emphasized that the plea was made to avoid another public trial revolving around Biden’s addiction struggles, stating, "This plea prevents a trial that would not have presented all the facts or served any significant purpose in the pursuit of justice."

Biden's case has garnered attention due to the potential of a presidential pardon. Despite this, the White House reaffirmed on Thursday that President Biden had ruled out this option.

Hunter Biden had previously faced trial in June for gun-related charges, resulting in a conviction, and he is currently awaiting sentencing scheduled for November 13.
