 Kaduna Targets ₦120bn IGR In 2026 — KADIRS Chairman   Kaduna State has set an Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) target of ₦120 billion for the 2026 fiscal year, with the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) expected to play a central role in achieving the target. The Executive Chairman of KADIRS, Jerry Adams, FCTI, FNIM, FCE, CNA, disclosed this during the Service’s Annual Performance Review, Work Plan, and Strategic Retreat.  He explained that although the state government approved ₦74 billion as KADIRS’ official revenue target, the Service raised its internal benchmark to ₦80.09 billion to motivate staff to exceed expectations. He further stated that the proposed 2026 budget by the Kaduna State Planning and Budget Commission stands at ₦117.28 billion, with KADIRS expected to generate ₦74.28 billion, while Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) are projected to generate ₦43.24 billion.  Mali junta sues ex-ministers over  $40m presidential jet purchase


Mali military government has sued former ministers and top military officials went for allegedly siphoning off millions of dollars during the purchase of a presidential jet in 2014 as well as military equipment.


The case is emblematic in Mali where the current military rulers came to power after a 2020 coup they said was aimed at ending corruption in president Ibrahim Boubacar Keita's government, and his inability to fight insurgents and rebels.


The presidential jet was bought for $40 million at the time, and a huge quantity of arms were also bought without any tenders floated beforehand, according to AFP.


The case led the International Monetary Fund to freeze funds for Mali for six months.


Former prime minister Soumeylou Boubeye Maiga, who was defence minister when the purchases were made, and former finance minister Bouare Fily Sissoko were detained in 2021 over the case.


They were accused of fraud, cheating and nepotism.


Maiga, who maintained his innocence, died in prison in March last year. His supporters accuse the junta of letting him die in prison.


The others accused include Mahamadou Camara, the former chief of staff of the toppled president.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
