  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  SCREENING EXAMINATION FOR ENTRY INTO GOVERNMENT SCIENCE AND TECHNICAL COLLEGES HOLDS TOMORROW


The screening examination for admission into seven Government Science and Technical Colleges, as well as one Government Technical and Vocational College for the 2024/2025 academic session, will take place tomorrow, Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Government Technical College, Idi-Aba, starting at 8:00 AM. The programme is a 3-year course leading to the award of the National Technical Certificate (NTC) or National Business Certificate (NBC).


In a statement signed by the Ogun State Commissioner for Education, Science, and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, it was noted that the examination is open to candidates who have completed their registration through the Ogun State Education Revitalisation Agenda (OGSERA).


Candidates are required to have either a Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), National Examination Council Senior School Certificate Examination (NECOSSCE), or equivalent qualifications.


The statement also instructed candidates to bring the printout of their registration forms, photocopies of their credentials, and writing materials for the smooth conduct of the exercise. It assured that all necessary arrangements have been made for a successful screening.


Candidates are urged to behave properly during the examination, with best wishes for a successful outcome.
