Uba Sani With 2-Day Lecture The Institute of Leadership Assessment and Development (ILAD) has unveiled plans for a landmark Two-Day Public Lecture Series in honour of the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani. The programme aimed at deepening leadership knowledge, enhancing civic participation, and fostering inclusive governance will debut on January 1–2, 2026, at Wonderland Hotel in Kafanchan, Kaduna State. The lecture series is themed “Transforming Governance: The Intersection of Innovation, Inclusion, and Leadership Excellence.” In a statement issued yesterday, Hon. Baba Ransome Adamu described the initiative as the first in a three-part series scheduled to take place across the Kaduna North, Kaduna Central, and Kaduna South Senatorial Districts. Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has slammed a fan of her colleague and former rival, Funke Akindele, for putting down her hard work.


Toyin, who is gearing up for her cinema movie debuting in December, shared a throwback photo of her photoshoot for the crew of Ijakumo as she teased a photo shoot with the crew of her upcoming project.


A follower of hers, had compared it to Funke Akindele’s project, questioning why she must always copy Funke Akindele in everything.


“Must you copy Aunty Funke Akindele in everything Chai?”.


Replying to him, Toyin expressed how tired she is of people saying things about her hard work.


“Pls check my recent post cos I’m tired of you all saying this about my hard work.”


In a since-deleted post on her Instagram page, she stated that she was tired of people putting down her hard work as she noted how she celebrates her crew every time. She stressed that they should stop talking down on her hard work.


“Ijakumo crew photoshoot 2022. 2024, be ready for the Alakadabadandboujee crew. Throwback. Idome Iamme, I Am Tired of some of you people putting down my hard work. I work so hard. I celebrate my crew every time, pls stop talking down on my hard work pls.

It is no longer news that there have been years of rivalry between the two screen goddesses, Toyin Abraham and Funke Akindele, as they have both dominated the TV screen for years and are still doing so.


However, the two ladies settled their differences last year as Toyin Abraham celebrated Funke on her birthday, and she reciprocated. Toyin had also attended Funke Akindele’s movie premiere, which further shut down rumours of animosity between the box office Queens.
