 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. A GROOM SHOT DEAD ON HIS WEDDING IN DAY IN THE UNITED STATES. (PHOTOS).

 North Carolina man loses his life at his wedding reception after being shot by a stranger only hours after the wedding. This story is upsetting and the man is still on the run. Make sure you read the nearly unbelievable story of Tyrek's passing, below. 


Greensboro P.D. were called to the scene of a shooting at 8:49 p.m. on Saturday. As they arrived at Barber Park Events Center,

they discovered 37-year-old Tyrek Burton suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. First responders attempted lifesaving measures but Tyrek was sadly pronounced deceased. 


Witnesses to the shocking event and wedding attendees shared the chilling account of the events that led up to the senseless death. According to the witness statements, Tyrek had left the event briefly to retrieve something. When he returned he was followed into the parking lot by a man accusing Tyrek of cutting him off in traffic. According to reports the man kept demanding to know who passed him at a nearby stop sign. Tyrek calmly told the man if he had cut him off, he was sorry.


It was at this point the man opened fire on Tyrek striking him multiple times in front of his new bride and wedding attendees.


 The suspect then fled the scene. Police are investigating the incident and say no suspect has been identified yet.


Greensboro Guilford Crime Stoppers are offering a reward for anyone who has any information that could lead to an arrest.
