 BADAGRY ANGELS WIN LAGOS SOFTBALL TOURNEY  Badagry Angels have been crowned champions of the Lagos U-15 Softball Championship held recently at the Badagry Grammar School playing field, Badagry. The five-day tournament, which began on November 11, 2024, ended on Friday, November 15 where eight teams participated in the competition designed to drive the growth of the sport at the grassroots level. As Champions of the tournament, Badagry Angels showcased their dexterity and skills against Rak Angels in the grand finale, maintaining their good position and dominance on the field before finally trouncing their opponents 9 runs to 1.  I’m not owing any rent” – Angela Okorie addresses rumors that her landlord chased her out of the house


Angels Okorie is clearing up some rumors that she claims to have seen swirling round the internet, regarding her supposed inability to pay rent.


In her post addressing the issue, Angela Okorie wrote;


”Nigerians if you guys believe that eviction story, that means you can believe anything on social media tufiakwa.


Although she didn’t attach the video itself, it is clear from her post that the former actress was upset that such rumors were going around in the first place.


Angela Okorie has been fighting many battles recently, ranging from celebrity beefs to netizens mocking her over the money she claimed to have made as an artist.


During her active years as an actor, Angela Okorie starred in an impressive number of movies, and she bagged a lot of awards along the way.


Angela Okorie starred in movies like Hooked, Sincerity, The Code, Parents Guard and many more.


At the peak of her acting career, Angela Okorie took a lot of lead roles, which made her one of the most prominent faces in Nollywood as at that time.


Right now, Angela Okorie seems to be more focused on her music career, which seems to still be at its infant years.

  SSANU, NASU threaten strike over withheld salaries The Joint Action Committee of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions have threatened to disrupt industrial peace in universities should the government fail to release the withheld salaries of members. The salaries were seized by the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari during their strike in 2022. The unions, in a joint letter signed on Friday by the President of SSANU, Muhammed Ibrahim and General Secretary of NASU, Peters Adeyemi, questioned the rationale with which the government released four months withheld salaries to members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities but failed to release the withheld salaries of non-academic staff.
