  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  In a disturbing case, police officials reported that a 16-year-old girl in Uttar Pradesh was allegedly raped repeatedly by her father. According to rural police superintendent Sagar Jain, the victim’s mother died a decade ago, which left her vulnerable to the alleged abuse.


This week, the brave teenager gathered the courage to report the heinous crime to the police, recounting the horrific experiences she endured at the hands of her father. She revealed that whenever she protested or resisted, he would brutally beat her. Despite her family members being informed about the situation and the Panchayat issuing a warning to her father, the alleged abuse continued.


Based on her complaint, an FIR was registered, and the victim was sent for a medical examination. The accused father has been arrested, and further investigation is currently ongoing, as confirmed by Superintendent Jain. This disturbing incident underscores the urgent need for greater awareness and support for victims of child abuse.
