 ‎I am constrained to align with those who opine that Nnamdi Kanu took Ala Igbo twenty years backward.  ‎ ‎Unfortunately, it appears many Ndi Igbo do not share this view. Rather, they see Nnamdi Kanu more like a hero, a saviour and a prophet to Ndi Igbo.  ‎ ‎It is instructive to note that the Christian theology which many modern Ndi Igbo subscribe to submitted, a prophet has no honour in his homeland.  ‎ ‎The reason for this rejection by the people towards their own prophet is clear. A prophet tells his people uncomfortable truth difficult to swallow. It is the stinging nature of this uncomfortable truth that the pushes the people to dislike and dishonour the prophet.  ‎ ‎Please make no mistakes, the present well deserved incarceration of Nnamdi Kanu should not by any stretch of sensible imagination be translated as a prophet being dishonored. MINNESOTA MAN WHO WAS RELEASED ON PAROLE IN MARCH IS ON THE RUN AFTER TAKING THE LIFE OF HIS PREGNANT GIRLFRIEND AND SHOOTING ANOTHER VICTIM DURING A CARJACKING. (PHOTO).

 BOLO: Minnesota man who was released on parole in March is on the run after taking the life of his pregnant girlfriend and shooting another victim during a carjacking.


36-year-old Mychel Stowers is being sought in connection to the October 19th fatal shooting of 35-year-old Damara Kirkland. He is being sought on two charges of second degree homicide due to Damara being 2 months pregnant.


Officers in St. Paul, Minnesota were responding to reports of shots fired when they discovered Damara deceased on the floor. A short time after responding to the shots fired report,  police stated a 911 call was made in relation to a carjacking. 


Once on scene at the carjacking incident, police learned a man matching Mychel's description had shot the driver of the vehicle and shot at his passenger before taking the car. The driver suffered a broken femur as a result of the gunshot wound. Forensic analysis has confirmed the firearm used in the carjacking was the same as the one used in the homicide.


Mychel Stowers was paroled from prison in March. He had been incarcerated for the 2008 death of a St. Paul man. At the time of Damara's passing, Mychel was living in a halfway house and had been granted a pass to visit Damara. 


Mychel called the Ramsey County Sheriff's Department on the day of the shooting and confessed while indicating he was going to turn himself in. However he has failed to do so at this time and the car he stole was found abandoned in a parking lot on Thursday.
