 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo.  SECURITY IN ANAMBRA: MURDER IN IFITE NOT TARGETED AT ANY ETHNIC OR RELIGIOUS GROUP SAY’S ANAMBRA STATE POLICE PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER


Anambra State Police command today 25/10/2024 intercepted a protest video on the unfortunate incident that happened at Ifite Awka yesterday 24/10/2024 that recorded the murder of five persons, and three others seriously injured wishes to state that it is not targeted at any ethnic or religious group. 


To set the records straight, preliminary information reveals that the armed men started shooting sporadically in an attempt to escape when Police were alerted of their evil plan in the area.


The Command not wanting to join issues with anyone or group remains committed to the ongoing operational patrols, improved security dominance and surveillance targeted to enhance safety and nip to the bud of such or any related incident in the State.


While we commiserate with the families and friends of the victims assure that unlike other incidents recorded in the past and some of the miscreants involved were arrested and justice served, will not rest until the perpetrators of this heinous crime are brought to book.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
