 Imo LG chairman, Alaribe, meets with monarchs over security matters..     Iheukwumere Alaribe, chairman of Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area (LGA), Imo State, has convened a high-level security meeting with a view to collaborate with all the traditional rulers to strengthen security.  This is as he announced a new reporting security measure for vigilantes, pledging to ensure that all intra-community conflicts would be resolved. The chairman, who emphasized on the importance of security, called for improved collaboration between the council and the traditional institutions of the communities in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area to ensure adequate safety of lives and property, saying that the safety of the people is a top priority. "I call on all our traditional rulers to work closely with the council, the local security outfits, to share information and intelligence so we can quickly stop any threats before they escalate," he said.  TEMPORARY GRID DISTURBANCE AT 08:15HRS OF TODAY, SUPPLY FULLY RESTORED 

The Transmission Company of Nigeria hereby states that the national grid experienced a temporary disturbance at about 815am, today, 19th Oct. 2024. According to the report from the NcC, the bus section of a current transformer exploded at 330kV Jebba Transmission Substation and as expected, the protection system was activated, and this promptly opened the busbars to curtail the explosion, thereby preventing outbreak of fire and further damage to adjacent equipment. The action of the protection system led to a temporary disturbance on the grid. Our engineers at Jebba have successfully carried out switchings. isolating the faulty current transformer. They have equally reconfigured the busbar arrangement, restoring power supply to the station, and other parts of the grid.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
