 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  Kaduna Govt Gifts ₦100,000, Smartphones To Released Protesters


Governor Sani Uba of Kaduna State has gifted ₦100,000 and smartphones to the released #EndBadGovernance protesters.


The governor promised to also rehabilitate the 39 released protesters from Kaduna and empower them if they turn a new leaf.


The  Secretary to Kaduna State Government Abdulkadir Meyere who spoke on behalf of Governor Sani disclosed that the governor had directed him to collect the credentials of those who have completed their tertiary education.


“The Governor promised that some of them will be given start-up capitals to commence trading, others will be taught skills and some will be given employment,” he said.


The SSG also noted that the Kaduna State Government will be tracking the activities and conduct of all 39 released #Endbadgovernance protesters to ensure they are of good behaviour “before the promised benefits are extended to them.
