 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean.  NNPCL debunks report on adulterated Petrol


The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) has dismissed a circulating video showing a person pouring a dark liquid, claiming it to be Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) supposedly bought from an NNPC Retail station at the Keffi Flyover.


In a statement by NNPCL spokesperson Olufemi Soneye, the company clarified that it conducted spot checks at all its outlets and confirmed the claim to be false. 


According to the statement the product was not, and could not have been purchased from any NNPC Retail outlet, as the company does not dispense petroleum products into bottles or jerrycans, as shown in the video.


NNPC Retail Ltd emphasized that it maintained stringent standards and quality control at every stage of its operations to ensure only high-quality, safe, and reliable petroleum products are available at its stations nationwide.


The company urged the public to disregard the misleading claims in the video and to be cautious of individuals spreading such misinformation, as they do not have the country's best interests in mind.
