Lagos police launch investigation as jeweller  accuses its officers of harassment The Lagos State Police Command said it has commenced an investigation into a viral video of a jeweller accusing some policemen in the Festac area of the state of harassing him.  The command disclosed this in an X post on Saturday. The video, which circulated on X on Saturday morning, shows the businessman engaged in a struggle with some policemen. Later in the video, the businessman could be seen with a bloody face after allegedly sustaining a cut beside his right eye during the struggle with the police officers,  The jeweller later explained that the policemen from the Festac Division had stopped him for a routine search. SOUTH KOREAN MAN ARRESTED AT AIRPORT IN PERU WITH 320 TARANTULAS, 110 CENTIPEDES AND 9 BULLET ANTS STRAPPED TO HIS BODY. (PHOTOS).

 South Korean man arrested at airport in Peru with 320 tarantulas, 110 centipedes and 9 bullet ants STRAPPED TO HIS BODY !


A 28-year-old South Korean man was stopped at Jorge Chavez International Airport after security took notice of his odd appearance. His abdomen seemed "unnaturally swollen". 


Once the man was searched, security could not believe what they found. When they lifted his shirt they discovered two belts with countless packages attached containing 35 hand sized adult tarantulas and 285 juveniles. There were also centipedes and bullet ants in various containers.


Tarantulas are listed as an endangered species, making this attempt to smuggle them out of the country more serious. Officials believe the insects were taken from the Madre de Dios region of the Peruvian Amazon.


The man was arrested and the case was handed over to the Environmental Prosecutor's Office. The different creatures were all safely recovered.
