 Nigerian Govt summons airline CEOs over flight delays, cancellations The Director-General of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, Chris Najomo, has convened a meeting with airlines’ Chief Executive Officers, amid the consistent flight delays and cancellations during the festive season. Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, NCAA, Michael Achimugu disclosed this on his X handle on Thursday. He said that Najomo is cutting short an important assignment to meet with all the CEOs of domestic airlines in Nigeria on Friday. Achimugu recounted an experience he had while trying to catch his flight. “I walked into the scene this evening while trying to catch a flight myself. Passengers were really angry and threatened to become violent. “I personally addressed them and engaged for about 20 minutes, explaining that I would confirm from the Nigerian Meteorological Agency, NiMET, if the weather was truly bad. Beyonce, Blue Ivy bring glam to NFL Halftime Show on Christmas


It was a happy Christmas for NFL fans and those who swear by Beyonce's music as Queen Bee performed at the NFL Halftime Show Performance which streamed on Netflix.


It was a Merry Christmas for Bey fans as Beyonce put up an outstanding half-time show during the Baltimore Ravens vs Houston Texans Christmas game.

Beyonce stunned her fans as she brought her daughter Blue Ivy to the game along with guests like Post Malone and Shaboozey to the stage. Along with many other songs that she performed, the highlight was tracks from her latest album, Cowboy Carter.

Beyonce was introduced to the game with a pre-recorded intro as she rode through Houston's NRG Stadium's tunnels. She was pictured on a white horse and was seen singing “16 Carriages”. She then sang a cover of The Beatles' “Blackbird”.

She also sang songs like “Ya Ya” and “My House”, followed by “Riverdance”. She teamed up with Shaboozey for “Sweet Honey Buckiin” and Post Malone for “Levii’s Jeans”.

  SSANU, NASU threaten strike over withheld salaries The Joint Action Committee of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions have threatened to disrupt industrial peace in universities should the government fail to release the withheld salaries of members. The salaries were seized by the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari during their strike in 2022. The unions, in a joint letter signed on Friday by the President of SSANU, Muhammed Ibrahim and General Secretary of NASU, Peters Adeyemi, questioned the rationale with which the government released four months withheld salaries to members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities but failed to release the withheld salaries of non-academic staff.
