 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  Jimmy Carter, the 39th president of the United States of America, has passed away at the age of 100 years old. He celebrated his 100th birthday on October 1st of this year.


Former President Jimmy Carter was the first Commander in Chief to reach the age of 100, making him the oldest president in American history. Jimmy Carter was most known for his humanitarian efforts after his presidency. President Carter remained very active well into his 90s. He personally helped build houses for Habitat for Humanity. 


Jimmy Carter survived cancer, serious physical injuries after falls and even the loss of his wife Rosalynn, who he adored. The couple were married for 77 years at the time of her death.


Rest in peace, Jimmy Carter. Thank you for everything you did for the needy. Your good deeds were incredible and will be remembered for years to come.
