 LASG HOSTS Y2024 WOMEN'S ASSEMBLY TO EMPOWER, CELEBRATE WOMEN Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has reaffirmed his administration's commitment to advancing and empowering women, describing them as the pillars of communities, contributing in numerous ways as mothers, entrepreneurs, educators and leaders.  Governor Sanwo-Olu stated this in his keynote address at the 2024 Women's Assembly for Local Government and Local Council Development Areas organised by the Ministry of Women's Affairs and Poverty Alleviation (WAPA) at the De Blue Roof, LTV 8 complex, Agindigbi Ikeja.  The Governor, represented by the Secretary to the State Governor, Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin, described the Assembly as a critical platform for celebrating women’s contributions and tackling challenges affecting their well-being.  Peace of mind is  best of all things – Portable’s third babymama reacts as he drags his girlfriend, Queen Dami


Honey Berry the third babymama of controversial singer Portable has spoken out following his drama with his girlfriend, Queen Dami.


We reported a day back that the singer had publicly dragged Dami, accusing her of having an affair and almost wrecking his home. 


Dami had reacted to his outburst, stating that she was done as she couldn’t take it anymore.


Not done with her, Portable slammed her for refusing to get pregnant for him, yet wanting to drive his cars. 


He expressed gratitude to his Maker that he didn’t lose his wife and home to her.


Taking to her Instagram page, Honey Berry shared jaw-dropping photos of herself as she admonished the public that in anything they are doing, they should try to have peace of mind.


“In anything you are doing, just try to have peace of mind”.

  SSANU, NASU threaten strike over withheld salaries The Joint Action Committee of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions have threatened to disrupt industrial peace in universities should the government fail to release the withheld salaries of members. The salaries were seized by the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari during their strike in 2022. The unions, in a joint letter signed on Friday by the President of SSANU, Muhammed Ibrahim and General Secretary of NASU, Peters Adeyemi, questioned the rationale with which the government released four months withheld salaries to members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities but failed to release the withheld salaries of non-academic staff.
