 ANAMBRA POLICE JOINS IN THE ADVOCACY AGAINST DOMESTIC SERVITUDE AND EARLY CHILD MARRIAGE The Anambra State Police Command today 16th December 2025 at the Pastoral Centre beside Roban Stores, Awka joined stakeholders like the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA), National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), Anambra State Ministry of Women Affairs, Civil society organizations, community leaders, and concerned citizens in advocating against the harmful practices of domestic servitude and early child marriage. These practices constitute grave violations of the rights of the child and are punishable under Nigerian law, including the Child Rights Act, Trafficking in Persons (Prohibition) Enforcement and Administration Act, and other relevant laws applicable in Anambra State.   Tragedy Strikes on N2 Highway: 4 Lives Lost in Fatal Collision


A devastating head-on collision on the N2 highway near Qumbu in the Eastern Cape has resulted in the loss of four lives. The accident involved an SUV and a VW UP, with the VW UP carrying four passengers, including a woman and her three children. Unfortunately, all four occupants of the VW UP were pronounced dead at the scene. The SUV driver survived with minor injuries.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
