 2027: BENUE GOVT TELLS APPOINTEES, DECLARE NOW OR STEP ASIDE 17th December, 2025   The Benue State Government has directed all political appointees seeking to contest elective offices to formally declare their intentions and tender their resignation letters. In a statement issued from the Office of the Deputy Governor, the directive follows the surge in political activities and growing expressions of interest in elective positions across the state. According to the notice, affected appointees are required to submit written expressions of interest for their preferred offices, alongside formal resignation letters, to the Office of the Deputy Governor on or before Thursday, December 18, 2025. The submissions will be transmitted to Governor Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormen Alia for further consideration and necessary action.  SKFEST: How Mother, Daughter Won First, Second Positions In Long-Distance Race


An elderly woman and her 17-year-old daughter emerged victorious in the long-distance race held as part of this year’s Southern Kaduna Festival of Arts and Culture (SKFEST).


Elizabeth Nuhu Bawa, the elderly woman, clinched first place, while her daughter, Grace, secured second place in the competition.


The race, held at the Kafanchan sports ground, saw Elizabeth and her energetic daughter outpace many other participants.


Seventeen-year-old Grace expressed her wish to have defeated her mother and claimed the top spot. However, she admitted that her mother displayed greater stamina during the event.


Grace said she remains optimistic about surprising her mother in future competitions, aiming to claim first place next time.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
