The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh King has slammed her fellow women for body shaming their gender.


In a new Instagram post, Tonto Dikeh called out women who body shame their fellow, asking them to show their mothers, too.


She highlighted the hypocrisy of women who insult others who experienced a physical change in their bodies due to childbirth


She calls for self-selection and empathy to remind them to consider the sacrifices and transformations women often go through.
