 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean.  2025 UTME registration Is Yet To Start--JAMB


The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has clarified that registration for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry is yet to commence.


The board calmed the tension that has been boiling up by assuring prospective candidates that details of the registration process will be announced in due course.


In a statement shared on its official X account on Wednesday, JAMB also advised the forthcoming candidates to begin preparations by securing their National Identification Number and a unique phone number.


Candidates are also encouraged to familiarize themselves with the recommended texts to enhance their preparation.


Additionally, JAMB has directed its staff to update their profiles or register afresh in preparation for the upcoming examination.
