 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. A PSYCHOLOGIST WAS ARRESTED FOR ALLEGEDLY RAPING AND BLACKMAILING AT LEAST 50 GIRLS OVER THE PAST 15 YEARS IN INDIA. (PHOTO).

 Nagpur police have arrested a 47-year-old psychologist for allegedly raping and blackmailing at least 50 girls over the past 15 years. 

The accused, a father of two, would lure young girls under the guise of offering counselling sessions at residential camps. Three cases have been registered against him under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.


According to police, the accused conducted personal development camps in rural areas like Bhandara and Gondia, where he raped and sexually abused girls. He reportedly took explicit photographs of his victims and used them for blackmail to silence them. Even after some victims were married, the accused continued to threaten and abuse them. His crimes came to light when one of his former students lodged a complaint with the Hudkeshwar police, unable to endure the threats any longer.


The accused has also been linked to several instances of molestation in his locality. Police have obtained CCTV footage showing him harassing women inappropriately. Despite being confronted and even beaten up by locals multiple times, he continued his predatory behavior. Investigators revealed that many victims were too afraid to report him earlier due to his threats and manipulative tactics.


In light of these revelations, the police have formed a special investigation team and are urging other survivors to come forward with their complaints. Authorities are also working to provide support and counselling to the victims. The arrest has shocked the local community, with many demanding strict action against the psychologist for his heinous crimes.
