 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. EX-PRESIDENT BUHARI REVEALS HE NOW RELIES ON RENTAL INCOME TO MAKE ENDS MWET. (PHOTO).

Former President Muhammadu Buhari has lamented the current hardship in Nigeria.


Buhari disclosed that he now relies on rent from one of his two houses to feed himself.


Addressing the All Progressives Congress, APC, Caucus at the Katsina State Government House, the former president insisted that he never enriched himself in a corrupt way while in office for eight years.


He noted that he has only three houses in Daura, Katsina State, and Kaduna State, Buhari, insisting that nobody could blackmail him for illicit enrichment while in office.


The former president tasked leaders on transparency and accountability as guiding principles while in office.


Buhari pointed out that most Nigerians are unaware of the administrative challenges involved in governing the country but simply blame their leaders during and after their tenures.
