 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. Governor Sule Dissolves Cabinet, Removes SSG 


GOVERNMENT OF NASARAWA STATE PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT His Excellency,

 Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, Executive Governor of Nasarawa State has approved the dissolution of the Nasarawa State Executive Council with effect from Friday, 3rd January, 2025. Also affected is the relieve of the appointment of Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State. 2 By this development, all outgoing Commissioners are to handover the affairs of their Ministries and all Government property in their possession to the Permanent Secretaries of their respective Ministries. The Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State is to handover to the Permanent Secretary Cabinet Affairs and Special Services. 3 His Excellency, the Governor expresses his appreciation and gratitude to the outgoing Commissioners and the Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State for the services rendered to the Government and people of Nasarawa State and wishes them the best of luck in their future endeavours.
