 TEAM LAGOS EMERGES TOP AT 23RD NATIONAL SPORTS FESTIVAL SOUTH WEST ELIMINATION Lagos State athletes proved their dominance in the South West by edging out regional competitors and emerging top in the five team events contested at the elimination series qualifier for the 23rd National Sports Festival later this year in Enugu. The elimination series featured team events in volleyball, basketball, football, beach volleyball, and cricket in male and female categories. While the team clinched only the female football ticket by topping their group, they showed dominance in three other sports by winning both the male and female tickets. Team Lagos took first position in the volleyball male and female categories. The male team defeated their counterparts from Ondo in the finals by 25-18, 24-26, 25-20, and 25-20, while the female team defeated Team Oyo by 25-18, 22-25, 28-26, 16-25, and 15-8.  I was raped five times in the past - Iyabo Ojo


Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo has recounted how she had been a victim of rape five times in the past.


She made the shocking revelation while speaking with Biola Bayo, on her talk show, Talk to B.


Ojo made opened up about her painful past, expressing her strong zero-tolerance stance on rape.


She also shared the complexities of her family life, detailing how her father’s battle with addiction ultimately led to his death at the age of 49. 


Reflecting on her upbringing, she revealed that she was raised by her grandmother and did not meet her mother until she was seven years old.


Iyabo Ojo partly said: "I was raped five times in my life. I discovered we have a lot of rape apologists. I don’t care who the person is; if that person is my son, I am going to come for him unapologetically.


“I have never met Naira Marley before in my entire life. The only time I lacked was when I insisted this was the man I was going to get married to because, at that time, my dad and I disowned each other.


“My dad did everything, alcohol and drugs, so it messed him up at a young age. He died at 40.


"Mohbad's dad claims he wants a DNA, and the court has granted that. I'm hearing from one side, which is Wunmi's side. When I asked her again recently, she said he also has some conditions.


"One of my colleague also came out to insinuate I probably might have hand in his death. That's why I'm in court with her today."
