 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean.  Police Declare 51-Year-Old Man Missing in Ekiti, Seek Public Assistance


The Ekiti State Police Command has declared Alhaji Odema Moses, a resident of Olatuji Street, Off Federal Poly Road, Ado-Ekiti, missing.


According to the police, Moses left home on December 19, 2024, and has not returned since.


In a statement released on Thursday, the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Abutu Sunday, confirmed that an investigation is underway to determine his whereabouts.


Describing the missing man, SP Sunday said, "He is 51 years old, light-skinned, without tribal marks, 5.8 feet tall, and speaks English fluently."


The Police have appealed to the public for assistance, urging anyone with relevant information to contact the nearest police station or call 09064050086.
