 Anambra to go after houses without proper drainage in order to combat Erosion  Worried by the rising menace of gully erosion, the Anambra State Government has threatened to enforce regulations requiring residents to provide proper drainage for storm water from their homes. The State Executive Council (ANSEC), which announced the proposed enforcement, lamented that erosion remains an existential challenge in Anambra, blaming the situation on careless actions by some communities and lapses by regulatory bodies in enforcing environmental laws. Briefing journalists after the weekly executive council meeting, the Commissioner for Information, Dr. Law Mefor, said it had been observed that some residents channel storm water from their homes directly onto roads, where it accumulates and worsens the erosion crisis across the state. “ANSEC has resolved to step up enforcement to compel residents to properly channel and manage storm water from their houses.  Man City contract extension responsible for Guardiola’s marriage collapse – Report


Pep Guardiola’s marriage fell apart because he’s a workaholic and went ahead to extend his contract with Manchester City.


According to reports, his devotion to work ‘took a toll’ on his relationship, a close friend of the Manchester City boss revealed.


Pep split from his fashion designer wife Cristina Serra after being together for three decades – with no official reason for the separation given.


But a friend close to Pep, who did not want to be named, said: ‘I think they have grown apart. She left Manchester about five years ago to return to Barcelona. That has taken its toll.


‘He is a total workaholic and not being involved in their family fashion business together may have affected their relationship too.’


Guardiola, 53, extended his contract with the Cityzens and is expected to stay at the club until 2027.
