  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. CHIDIMMA ADETSHINA SPOTTED IN CAPE TOWN AS SOUTH AFRICANS CALLS FOR THE RESIGNATION OF THEIR HOME AFFAIRS MINISTER. (PHOTOS).

Some South Africans are calling for the removal of their Home Affairs Minister, Leon Schreiber, after Miss Universe First Runner-Up 2024, Chidimma Adeshina was spotted in Cape Town. 


A viral video making the rounds on X allegedly shows the Miss Universe Africa and Oceania, hanging out at a café in Waterfront, Cape Town, sparking fury among some South Africans, with many questioning how she ‘’managed’’ to re-enter the country.


In October 2024, the Department of Home Affairs claimed that an investigation had found that there was prima facie evidence that Adeshina’s mother may have committed fraud and identity theft.


The department further announced that it had cancelled Adetshina and her mother’s IDs and travel documents after they failed to adhere to an order to make submissions as to why their documents shouldn’t be revoked. 


Adetshina was forced to withdraw from the Miss South Africa competition amidst backlash and accusations of not being a South African.


The beauty queen became a target of xenophobic attacks due to her mixed heritage - her father is Nigerian while her mother has Mozambican roots. 


The situation escalated when claims of identity fraud related to her mother surfaced, prompting the Department to investigate her citizenship status. 


Adetshina decided to step down from the SA competition and later went on to win the Miss Nigeria beauty pageant.
