  Chikun/Kajuru Rep, Hon. Fidelix Bagudu, Announces New Appointments To Strengthen Inclusive Governance The Honourable Member representing the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency, Hon. Fidelix Joseph Bagudu, has announced a wide-ranging list of new appointments aimed at deepening inclusive governance and enhancing representation across the constituency. The appointments, which take immediate effect, were unveiled in alignment with Kaduna State Governor Senator Uba Sani’s commitment to participatory governance. According to the lawmaker’s office, the list reflects deliberate efforts to ensure fair representation of all wards, communities, and interest groups across Chikun and Kajuru Local Government Areas (LGAs). CHIDIMMA ADETSHINA'S MOTHER HAS BEEN ARRESTED IN CAPE TOWN FOR DEFYING HER BAN ON ENTERING SOUTH AFRICA. (PHOTOS).

Chidimma Adetshina’s mother (Anabela Rungo) has been arrested in Cape Town for defying her ban on entering South Africa!

 This morning, the Department of Home Affairs arrested Anabela Rungo, the mother of Chidimma Adetshina, at a property in Cape Town.


She will be transferred into police custody.


Her South African documentation was revoked last year after authorities discovered it had been obtained fraudulently.

Cape Town – Anabela Rungo, the mother of Chidimma Adetshina, was detained this morning in Cape Town by investigators from the Department of Home Affairs, with assistance from the South African Police Service (SAPS). Authorities allege that Rungo has been residing in South Africa illegally after her citizenship documents were revoked last year.


According to Home Affairs, Rungo’s South African documentation was withdrawn in September 2024 after it was discovered that it had been fraudulently obtained. Despite this, she reportedly continued to stay in the country using a Mozambican passport, violating her “undesirable” status.


Authorities Dig Deeper Into Possible Fraud🚨


The arrest comes as part of a broader investigation into immigration fraud and misrepresentation, with officials looking into whether Rungo may have been involved in further fraudulent activities. The Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation is also pursuing a case against her.


During the operation, Home Affairs’ Counter Corruption and Immigration Services also found Adetshina’s underage child residing with Rungo. The Department of Social Development and SAPS Child Protection Unit have been engaged to ensure the child’s welfare.


What’s Next?


After processing by Home Affairs, Rungo will be handed over to SAPS for further legal proceedings. The government has confirmed that updates will be provided as the investigation continues.
