 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  Police Arrest Two Suspected Armed Robbers During Insurance Enforcement in Kogi


The Nigeria Police in Kogi State have arrested two suspected armed robbers, identified as Mohammed Chelim and Oneh Mohammed, along the Harbour Bay-Egume Road.


The suspects were apprehended during the enforcement of Third-Party Insurance, following the directive of the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun.


Recovered Weapons and Investigation


Kogi State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), William Ovye Aya, confirmed the arrests in a statement on Friday, revealing that the suspects were found in possession of two locally made pistols.


“During interrogation, they failed to provide a satisfactory explanation for their movements, prompting a search that led to the discovery of a locally made pistol,” the statement read.


Police Commitment to Security


The Commissioner of Police, CP Miller Dantawaye, commended the officers for their vigilance and reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to working with other security agencies to eliminate criminal activities in the state.


Residents were also urged to support security efforts by providing credible information on suspicious activities in the state.one more photo below.
