 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. AKPABIO EXPRESSES CONFIDENCE IN APC'S CHANCES IN KANO STATE AHEAD OF 2027 ELECTION. (PHOTO).

Senate President Godswill Akpabio has stated that Kano State will remain a stronghold for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections. Akpabio's confidence stems from the strategic influence of key party leaders, including Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin, APC National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje, and Special Adviser to the President on Senate Matters, Senator Basheer Lado.


During a visit to Lado's office at the National Assembly, Akpabio praised Lado's exceptional performance in ensuring seamless and confidential communication between the Executive and the Senate. He noted that since Lado assumed office, there have been no leaks of private communication between the Presidency and the Senate.


Akpabio emphasized the importance of maintaining confidentiality in governance, warning that leaks could compromise national security and decision-making. He also commended Lado's role in enhancing collaboration between the Executive and the Legislature, resulting in smoother communication and coordination.


"Your performance over the last eight months has been outstanding," Akpabio said. "You have strengthened the synergy between the Executive and the Legislature, making governance more effective."

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
