 Russian forces to stay in Mali to fight terrorism: Kremlin The Kremlin said on Thursday that Russian forces would stay in Mali to help the country's government battle terrorists following an offensive over the weekend by Tuareg-led separatists and terrorists. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov made the statement after being asked by a reporter how Russia responded to a purported statement from the terrorists saying they wanted Russia to leave Mali. "Russia's presence there is, in fact, due to the need identified by the current government. Russia will continue, including in Mali, to combat extremism, terrorism and other harmful phenomena and will continue to provide assistance to the current government," said Peskov, AFP reported. The Russian Defence Ministry had claimed on Tuesday that units of its African Corps prevented an attempted coup on April 25, 2026 in Mali.  CENTRAL NAVAL COMMAND COMMEMORATE EID-AL-FITR 


On Sunday 30 March 2025, the Headquarters Central Naval Command (HQ CNC), in collaboration with the Central Fleet, Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) SOROH and the civilian community marked the conclusion of Ramadan with an Eid-al-Fitr prayer ceremony held at the NNS SOROH parade ground.


Presiding over the prayers session, the Command’s Imam delivered a sermon emphasising perseverance in faith and devotion. He urged Muslim faithfuls to not relent in their supplications and to strengthen their trust in God Almighty.  


In attendance were the Chief Staff Officer HQ CNC, Rear Admiral SA Adepegba, alongside Principal Staff Officers from HQ CNC, Central Fleet, and NNS SOROH. The gathering underscored the Nigerian Navy’s commitment to fostering unity and religious observance within its ranks.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
