 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean.  Delta State Government Withdraws Query Against Nursing Student Over Viral Video


The Delta State Government has withdrawn a query issued to Osato Edobor, a student of the School of Nursing Sciences, Agbor, over her involvement in a viral social media video during the recent visit of First Lady Oluremi Tinubu. The state's Commissioner for Health, Dr. Joseph Onojaeme, confirmed the withdrawal in a statement, emphasizing the government's commitment to upholding students' rights and ensuring a conducive learning environment.


Onojaeme assured the public that the government had no intention of victimizing Edobor, stating, "We don't want to victimize any of the students." He also revealed that he personally contacted Edobor to confirm the withdrawal of the disciplinary action, which was withdrawn the previous night.
