 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. OHIO MAN ARRESTED AFTER THE 12-YEAR-OLD BOY HE FORCED INTO ICE BATHS TRAGICALLY DIES. (PHOTO).

 Ohio man arrested after the 12-year-old boy he forced into ice baths tragically dies.


Authorities were called to a home at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday (March 22nd) in Akron, Ohio.

The initial call was to report a 12-year-old boy was suffering from a cardiac arrest. EMS transported Jadako Taylor to Akron's Children's Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. It was recorded that Jadako had a body temperature of just 74 degrees when EMS responded to the scene...


As police began investigating this young boy's death, a chilling tale emerged.  According to reports by Akron Municipal Court, 23-year-old Anthony McCants caused the death of Jadako by forcing him into ice baths.


The courts allege McCants forced Jadako into 2 ice baths between 5 a.m. and 2 p.m. The first ice bath lasted approximately 45 minutes. Once Jadako was allowed out he was forced to do push ups and other exercises. 


He was then forced into a second ice bath that lasted around 30 minutes.  After his second ordeal Jadako began to vomit and seize, prompting the call to EMS.


Anthony McCants was arrested on felony child endangering and had his bond set at $500,000. He has pleaded not guilty.


May the young boy finally be able to rest in peace. This is a heartbreaking story and a terrible fate for the child.
