 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  Drama at 17th Headies as Odumodublvck Refuses to Leave Stage After Next Rated Win


Rapper Odumodublvck caused a stir at the 17th Headies Awards on Sunday at the Eko Convention Centre, Lagos, after refusing to leave the stage following his Next Rated award win.


Storming the stage with his mother and over 10 supporters, Odumodublvck’s microphone was cut off mid-speech as organisers tried to manage time. However, he resisted leaving, prompting the organisers to restore his microphone to allow him finish.


In his speech, he reflected on overcoming industry barriers, crediting his success to "my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ."


Odumodublvck beat Shallipopi, Qing Madi, Ayo Maff, and Nasboi to clinch the coveted Next Rated award, which comes with a car prize. The award was presented by Afrobeats star Davido.


Last year, Odumodublvck won Rookie of the Year at the 16th Headies in Atlanta, earning a house prize in Lagos.
