 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean.  Igbo Youths Group to mobilize 5 million-man march in support of President Tinubu, Senator Kalu


The Coalition of South East Youth Leaders (COSEYL) has announced plans to organize a 5 million-man grand endorsement rally in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Orji Uzor Kalu. According to a statement signed by the group's President General, Comrade Goodluck Ibem, the rally is scheduled to take place in Abia State and will mobilize citizens from across the South East geopolitical zone.


The group commends Senator Kalu's transformational contributions to the region, citing notable improvements in infrastructure, healthcare, education, and youth empowerment programs. "Senator Orji Kalu has proven to be a beacon of progress, consistently working toward the betterment of our region through building and renovations of schools, massive road construction, huge investment in agriculture for food sufficiency, youth empowerment programs, and other democracy dividends too numerous to mention," the statement reads.


COSEYL predicts a 90% electoral victory for President Tinubu in the South East region in the 2027 general elections, attributing this to Senator Kalu's efforts. "Given this track record of success, it is clear that Senator Kalu's efforts have laid a strong foundation for ensuring that our geopolitical zone will overwhelmingly support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the next election come 2027," the group stated.


The rally aims to build momentum for the 2027 campaigns, solidifying the South East as a strong pillar of support for both Tinubu and Kalu. "We are confident that with Senator Orji Kalu leading the way, the future is bright for both our region and the nation as a whole. Together, we are poised for success in the upcoming election, and we look forward to the continued progress under President's Tinubu's leadership," the group concluded.
