 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo.  Jigawa Governor Appoints Emir of Kazaure as Amirul Hajj for 2025


Jigawa State Governor, Malam Umar A. Namadi, has appointed the Emir of Kazaure, Alhaji (Dr) Najib Hussaini Adamu, as the Amirul Hajj and head of the state's delegation for the 2025 Hajj exercise.


The appointment was announced in a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Malam Bala Ibrahim, who also listed other members of the Amirul Hajj team. They include Dr. Yusuf Abdurrahman, Chief Imam of Hadejia Emirate; Alhaji Lawan Ya’u Roni, Talban Kazaure; Dr. Mahmoud Yunusa, Sa’in Dutse; and Alhaji Adamu Dauda Zakar, Durbin Hadejia.


The SSG noted that the appointments were based on the appointees’ dedication, patriotism, trustworthiness, and piety.


He congratulated the team and urged them to uphold these values as they work with the Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board and relevant agencies to ensure smooth Hajj operations.


The appointments take immediate effect.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
